Baking as cure for dog ills is tried in Germany.
Ills of dogs are being treated by baking in Germany. For this purpose, and to aid in scientific research, gas ovens have been installed in the Berlin veterinary university's clinic. The application of heat to animals is said to act in the same way that a steam bath does to the human body!!

Wow Cool! Green puppies!

A green puppy was born in New Orleans. Shown in this video and pictures, the puppy was one of five puppies born to a mixed breed mother and is the only green puppy in the litter.
“Sometimes, when a puppy is born, the amniotic fluid mixes with the placenta and dyes the coat of the puppy and it almost always happens to very light colored puppies,” says Anna Zorrilla with the Louisiana SPCA.
She says the puppy will likely turn white in color in a few weeks. She also says the puppy’s health is not affected by the color.
“There are not health concerns,” Zorrilla said. “It’s really just a discoloration in the birthing process.”
While it doesn't happen very often, it does happen. Here's another green puppy. This time it's an American Bulldog puppy.

This is what happens when a bull terrier tangles with a porcupine.
"Inca" apparently did not know when to quit. These are the pictures the vet sent before the long (and expensive) procedure to remove the quills. She had thousands of quills, and her tongue was so covered, she could not close her mouth.
The owner reports "It was pretty scary at first. She is doing okay now, but looks like a World War III survivor as they had to cut some out in places, stitched between her toes, and many quills bled on removal."
